On July 4,2023,the international independent third-party testing,inspection,and certification agency TÜV Rheinland Greater China(hereinafter referred to as"TÜV Rheinland")issued the ISO 26262 Functional Safety Management System ASIL D Level Certification to Changsha Jinwei Information Technology Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"Changsha Jinwei"),marking that Changsha Jinwei has established a functional safety management system that complies with international standards,laying a solid foundation for designing automotive grade chips that meet functional safety requirements.

ISO 26262 is an internationally recognized functional safety standard for automobiles and is one of the entry barriers for electronic component suppliers to enter the automotive industry.The functional safety management system certification of Changsha Jinwei covers complete standard chapters such as functional safety management,support management,functional safety analysis,functional safety verification,system functional safety development,hardware and software functional safety development,and runs through the entire product lifecycle.Through the guidance and application of standardized technical specifications,the functional failure of safety related electronic products can be avoided,resulting in hazards and ultimately reducing related traffic accidents and potential recall risks.
ASIL(Automotive Safety Integration Level)is a classification system based on the ISO 26262 standard,with four levels:A,B,C,and D.Changsha Jinwei has obtained the ASIL D-level certificate,which is a higher level of the ISO 26262 functional safety standard.The development process requirements are also very strict,indicating that Changsha Jinwei has established a complete product development process system that meets the highest level of automotive functional safety,and has the ability to strictly manage and develop products with the highest functional safety level according to the functional safety system.
